About me
If you're reading this, you're probably curious about 'who am I?' That's totally understandable. I'd question the person who named their blog after a Lana Del Rey song, too. Isn't she great? It's not a silly observation, though. The song holds a deep meaning that discusses real-life struggles and tragedies that go unnoticed, either by getting gaslighted or mistreated by someone or maybe even yourself.
The song expresses the sad reality of the situation through metaphors that seem sweet to the ear, but between the lines, the hard, shocking truth exists, more like bittersweet. And here I, Sara Baloum, a Palestinian Arab girl from Israel with so much to uncover and learn in life, is willing to remove her rose-colored glasses, becoming someone who wants to view through different scopes, not wishing to be blinded by eyes that are Watercolored by the glamour I'm supposed to feel. Instead, she wants to be true to herself and what surrounds her by Un-coloring them, leaving them untainted
